Hong, a third-generation practitioner of Chinese medicine, graduated from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in 1991, where she combined traditional methods with modern techniques. After completing a five-year acupuncture program, she gained valuable experience at the 7th Hospital of Harbin, China, and later practiced in Japan, Canada, and the USA.

For the past six years at the Gao Acupuncture Center in Maryland, Hong has specialized in various health issues, including pain management, fibromyalgia, peripheral neuropathy, post-stroke recovery, Lyme disease, infertility, menopause, digestive disorders, autoimmune conditions, and more. Recently, she moved to Michigan for her family need, and established the Troy Acupuncture & Wellness Center in Troy, MI, demonstrating her dedication to offering her unique integration of traditional Chinese medicine and modern wellness practices to a new community.
